Whether you’re the adventurous type or prefer comfort – there are several ways to reach the lake:

🚗 By car:
You’ll get to the lake in about 10–15 minutes by car. Parking is available by the lake, but during summer, we recommend arriving early due to its popularity.

🚌 By bus:
The bus stop is only a few minutes’ walk from Apartment B8. Regular lines take you directly to Ribčev Laz, where the lake opens up in all its glory. A great choice for stress-free travel.

🚶 On foot:
If you enjoy long walks and want to feel nature with every step, you can also walk to the lake. The journey takes around 2 hours and offers beautiful views, meadows, and forest paths.

Guests at Apartment B8 can use our bikes for free – perfect for one of the most scenic cycling routes in Slovenia!
The bike path starts at Camp Danica, just a few minutes from the apartment. It’s a well-maintained, mostly flat trail that winds through the valley, past pastures, bridges, and beneath tree canopies. At times, it feels like a scene from a movie. 😍
When you reach Ribčev Laz, you’ll be greeted by a stunning view of St. John the Baptist Church, the legendary stone bridge – and of course – Lake Bohinj in all its beauty.
